At the early stages of our renovation project I surfed the net trying to find an Interior Designers page that spoke to me. After sifting out the top three I immediately connected with Camilla when we met face to face. Not only did she 'get' the direction I was trying to take in our initial meeting she was also very enthusiastic about our project and wasn't afraid to tell me some of my ideas were naff!
Along the way I got cold feet a few times and naturally chose the safer option. Not only was Camilla brave enough to step in and remind me of what I wanted initially, she took the time to draw sketches and find photo's of what I was thinking about in my head so we were always on the same page.
The outcome was exactly as I had imagined with minimal amount of stress. Camilla had contacts all over Melbourne that I had never even heard of (that's impressive when you're as obsessed as interior design as I am!) and I can confidently say that Camilla sourced these goods at way better prices than I would have if I'd called on my own.
Which brings me back to her beautiful web page - the houses are real, the site is not a 'sales pitch' - what you see is definitely what you get.
Even better, our humble little home ended up being shot by Home Beautiful, a lovely end to a great collaboration.
We've worked with Camilla over the years on a number of projects in our house. It's very much a work in progress, and as we renovate, Camilla has been a great point of reference, offering clarity to our thoughts, distilling the husband's and my sometimesdisparate ideas into clever workable solutions. I admire her vision and creativity, but she never forgets that it's our house and needs to reflect us and how we live.
Camilla makes the actual implementation and installation seamless too with clear communications that details what we should expect when. Her team of tradespeople are also always a pleasure to have in your home.
The process of working with CMD has always delivered such good results on a personal level, that we've recently had Camilla advise on one of our residential developments too. Again her clarity of vision has shown through, providing enormous assistance during the architectural design phase of the project. Can't wait to see the impact she has when we get to the interior fixtures and finishes.

Camilla I wanted to email you to let you know how much your work and design was appreciated.
I found your web site and loved your style and took the next step in contacting you to set up a time for you to view the house. You were amazing in so many ways especially as you were involved before the painting was completed and often would come in with tradesmen everywhere and your inspiration and ideas were what we wanted to achieve. Intuition was big for me personally, and I wanted the house to have a certain feel and creative flow. We worked beautifully together as you just knew the effect that I was after. The end result is amazing and often gets comments of wow what a great effect! Often these projects blow out financially and you were very aware of the target that was originally set. Have to be honest as it did blow out a little but no regrets as it has worked so well.
I am very happy to pass on your details as you are a rare find!
A big thankyou!
We hired Camilla when we bought out 1970s house that needed a major face-lift. Camilla was a life saver- she turned the process from daunting to exciting. She had wonderful ideas, which fit with our vision and with the integrity of the house. She advised on everything from paint colour, light fittings, kitchen reno, furniture purchases, and also on what to leave and re-use to save us money.
One of the best things about Camilla was the support she provided throughout the process. It wasn't just a short consultation; she was always available to provide ongoing advice, to be a sounding board and had an infection enthusiasm, which made the process a dream.
Camilla Molders expertise and vision helped us transform a run down fish and chip shop into a funky residential pad with a focus on detail and quality whilst still staying within our budget.
When Camilla has a new idea we always happy to go along for the ride because we know she has our best interests at heart and always comes up with the goods.

Working with Camilla has been an absolute joy. The Camilla Molders Design philosophy balances gorgeous design with practicality and livability.
Camilla was able to take my ideas and enhance them. Camilla is at the same time respectful of clients’ ideas and preferences whilst challenging and advising based upon her experience and depth of knowledge.
She is enthusiastic, committed and reliable. It’s great to deal with a professional who obviously so thoroughly lives and breathes her work. At the same time she’s fun and energetic and her enthusiasm for design is contagious!

I would recommend Camilla Molders as an interior designer to anyone. She is skilled, thorough, original in her designs and great fun to work with. She designed us a bold and beautiful kitchen that is both environmentally friendly and stunning to look at.
Camilla was fabulous not just for her ideas but because of her ability to work so patiently and collaboratively with both my husband and me. She knows how to involve her clients in the process and work within a budget. I appreciated her creative and practical ideas in decorating two lounge rooms and a bedroom. She helped create something stylish, liveable and original that suited us and the character of our home.

Having never redesigned an interior before, I had no idea where to start. The best decision I made was getting Camilla Molders on board. Camilla made the entire process so easy, she had a wealth of ideas and really understood what I wanted my home to feel like. The end result was stunning and proved to be outstanding value for money. Above all, I was impressed with the passion and vision that Camilla brought to the project. I would highly recommend Camilla Molders Design to anyone considering an interior design project.
